Overview
This policy explains how Mantic I.K.E. ("Mantic", "we") processes information when you visit mantic.gr. We aim to collect only what we need to operate the website and understand aggregate usage.

What we collect
When you browse mantic.gr: • Page views and interaction events, sent to our analytics provider GoatCounter (see Analytics provider and Interaction events) • Your language preference, stored in your browser • Technical connection data (IP address, browser details) that our host Netlify and our map provider receive with every request, as with any website When you submit the demo request form: your name, email address, organisation (optional), country and the page language (see Demo request form).
Demo request form
When you request a demo, the form sends your name, email address, organisation (optional), country and the page language to a server function hosted by Netlify. The function sends two emails through our email provider, Resend: one to our team with your name, email address, organisation and country, and a confirmation to you in the page language. Netlify runs this function in its US East (Ohio) region, so your form details are processed in the United States. Netlify keeps the function's logs for 24 hours, and the form details are not written to them. We do not store form submissions in a database, CRM or ticketing system. The details remain in our team's mailboxes and in Resend's sending logs (Resend sends from its EU region in Ireland and keeps these logs for 30 days), and we use them only to reply to your request and arrange the demo. To have them deleted, email admin@mantic.gr.
What we do not collect
We do not use cookies, advertising pixels, cross-site tracking or profiling. We do not send demo form values (name, email, organisation, country) to analytics. Outbound click events record the link type only (e.g. mailto), not the address you click. The website does not ask your browser for your location.
Legal basis (EEA/UK visitors)
Analytics: our legitimate interest in understanding, in aggregate, how the website is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). GoatCounter sets no cookies and does not identify individual visitors. Demo request form: steps you ask us to take before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Language preference: needed to show the website in your language.
Local storage on your device
We set no cookies. We store one value in your browser: mantic_locale_pref — your language (localStorage). It is set on your first visit from your browser's language, changes when you switch language, and stays until you clear your browser's site data.
Analytics provider
We use GoatCounter (mantic.goatcounter.com), a privacy-oriented analytics service hosted in the EU, to count page views and the interaction events below. The GoatCounter script is served from mantic.gr. Each hit sends the page path (including any query string), page title, referrer, screen width and page language. GoatCounter's servers also receive your IP address and browser details with the request. According to GoatCounter, it does not store raw IP addresses or full browser strings, and keeps only aggregate statistics such as browser, operating system, screen size and country. See goatcounter.com for their documentation.
Interaction events
Events use labels and categories, never personal data or form field values. Demo funnel: CTA clicks (placement on page), form start, submit success or error (locale and error type only). Map explorer: demo region and layer choices (e.g. athens, risk, fuel — not your real-world location). Content: homepage section navigation, FAQ topic opened, language switches (from/to locale). Outbound links: category only — app login, LinkedIn, or email (not your email address). Events carry the same technical context as page views (see Analytics provider).
Interactive map
The map on the home page and the demo page loads its base map from OpenFreeMap (tiles.openfreemap.org). Your browser requests the map images directly, so OpenFreeMap receives your IP address, browser details and the map areas shown (our demo regions, not your location).
Hosting
The website and the demo form function are hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify processes your IP address and standard request logs to deliver the website. Fonts, images and scripts are served from mantic.gr itself. We do not load Google Fonts, embedded videos or social media widgets.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA or UK, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing. Contact us at admin@mantic.gr to exercise these rights. You can also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority; in Greece, this is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
